About The Private Court Club

The Idea

Founded by Jenny Bourne-Arton in 2024, the idea for The Private Court Club was born out of a desire to rent out our own padel tennis court, which gave the family hours of enjoyment but was often underused. Whilst there are online marketplaces for tennis, basketball and pickleball courts in the USA, there was a clear gap in the market in the UK. We wanted to link court owners wanting to monetise their assets, with players looking to book a local court.

The Mission

The Private Court Club is an online marketplace that allows private padel and tennis court owners in the UK to rent out their courts by the hour to members of the public. Owners can earn extra income from their assets, whilst keen padel and tennis players have the opportunity to access private courts across the country, offering an exclusive experience and convenient alternative to often crowded public padel and tennis courts and clubs.

The Club

Operating largely on a word of mouth basis, The Private Court Club is a collection of padel or tennis courts for hire in the UK that welcomes keen players of all ages and abilities. No subscription, just sign up, pay and play.
